Written translations sometimes need to be sworn before they can be used for certain purposes, for example in a court, to obtain a new passport, to prove educational qualifications, for probate purposes, etc.
We offer two levels of sworn certification as described below:-
When the translation is to be used for official purposes or in a court
within the United Kingdom.
Usually the translation needs to be sworn before a
Solicitor or a Commissioner for Oaths. We
draw up an Affidavit and attend the Solicitor's office in person to swear
the document.
When the translation is to be used for official purposes or in a court
outside the United Kingdom.
Usually the translation needs to be sworn
before a Notary Public. We draw up an
Affidavit and attend the Notary Public's office in person to swear the
document.
We are able to provide this service for residents of the UK only.
